Other Projects
Aged Care
The organisation was created over 80 years ago, primarily to care for Masons and their families. These days they care for a broad cross-section of the community as well, across 10 Queensland sites.
As a large charitable organisation, they are able to provide residents with extremely affordable living solutions. Residents also enjoy a special sense of community spirit.
Guide Dogs
In addition to Guide Dogs, The Morningisde Lodge has supported a number of charities including Leukaemia Foundation, Victoria Bushfire appeal, Royal Flying Doctor, Cystic Fibrosis, Royal Children's Hospital Foundation, amongst others.
School Bursary
Presented to a deserving pupil of Morningside State School as selected by teachers each December. This tradition started in 1993 and is presented by a Lodge member, usually presented by Bob Spence who attended Morningside School in 1939.
